Dr. Furman has professional interests in critical care and lung ultrasonography, nutrition, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, interventional bronchoscopy and advanced endobronchial imaging/guidance and interventions, lung nodules and early detection/treatment of lung cancer. At his prior clinical endeavors Dr. Furman has been closely involved in sepsis care and ICU safety improvement as well as resident education. Dr. Furman is involved as a principal investigator in research studies related to his interests and presented his findings and opinions in medical journals and international conferences. He enjoys travel, fishing, soccer and martial arts. Dr. Furman has practiced medicine in the local area since 2012. He speaks Russian fluently.
